1989 FIN – Hollenbach, Desrosiers Head BARCAR
March 15, 1989 FIN – BARCAR Fastening Productsof Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, has recently undergone a management restructuring and has also expanded its manufacturing capacity.
The company’s top management now includes Robert Hollenbach and Barbara Hollenbach, the company’s owners, who are president and vice president, respectively. Ed Desrosiers, who joined Barcar in August 1988, has been named general manager.
Barcar was founded in 1961 by Harry M. Glaeser, a 38-year veteran of the fastener industry, who died last December.
Glaeser also founded Keystone Screw Co. in Willow Grove in 1950.
Barbara Hollenbach, Glaeser’s daughter has been with BarCar since its founding. She now heads up the company’s day-to-day operations and also takes the title of chief operating officer.
Barcar produces engineered, cold-formed threaded and non-threaded fasteners and sems screws in standard and exotic metals.
