Strategic Supplier Development Manager
Mid-sized fastener distributor located in Ohio looking for an individual to join their management team as a Supplier Development Manager.
Individual would be responsible for strengthening partner relationships with current vendors as well as identifying potential new suppliers both internationally and domestically to provide more competitive sourcing in the industry. 10 year fastener experience internationally a must and domestically a plus. Must possess excellent communication, negotiation skills, and good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Also would be responsible for Auditing existing and new vendors and providing feedback to vendors by maintaining a vendor evaluation program. They need to be able to travel both within the US as well as internationally.
