ACQUISITION: Hi TecMetal Acquires Two Companies

Hi TecMetal Group acquired South Carolina-based heat-treating company IMT and Fusion Engineering Company of Ohio.
The combined companies have 700 employees and operations in five states.
Fusion has been renamed HTG Fusion Product Design and will continue to operate from two locations in Columbus. Fusion designs a variety of products from a futuristic guitar pick to molding shuttle presses and then machines the idea for production.
With the acquisitions HTG projects its annual revenues will exceed $55 million. HTG, headed by CEO Terry Profughi, has 22 business units started or acquired over the past 15 years.
Cleveland-based HTG provides brazing, heat treating, design & engineering, coating and welding services.
