C.J. Winter Licensed for MAThread
C.J. Winter Machine Technologies Inc. is now a licensed supplier of MAThread and MATpoint thread dies for the patented threaded fasteners used in the auto industry.
The MAThread technology cuts assembly failures for nuts and internal threads, including lock nuts, due to cross threading and galling.
Initially operated as a sole proprietorship by Charles J. Winter, the company was incorporated in 1956 as C.J. Winter Machine Works. In the 1950s, the company focused on manufacturing tool holders and attachments for Davenport screw machines. Robert Brinkman acquired the company in 1969 and developed thread rolling attachments and began manufacturing thread roll dies.
