Chambers, Lamb Head SFA; Expo Shifts to Spring in 2002

Mary Chambers of Isodyne Sales Inc. is the new president and Wayne Lamb of Heads & Threads International chairman of Southwestern Fastener Association.\
David Wolfe of Waco Bolt & Nut Inc. is the new vice president and Robert Simpson of Partsmaster Inc. treasurer.
New board members announced at SFA�s fall conference and expo in Houston are Maureen Franklin, Zelenda Metric; Ron Garrett, Sooner Bolt & Supply Inc.; Jeff Podshadley, Distributor Sales; Cindy Summers, Fastener Sales Unlimited; and Simpson.
Continuing board members are Preston Hebert, Diamond Bolt Corp., and Kathy Malkemes, Fastener Sales Unlimited.
The association reported total conference and expo registration at about 700. The total includes advance and on-site registration.
Outgoing president Robert Heydenrich announced SFA would switch its conference to spring tabletop shows beginning in 2002.
The Southwestern expo is held in even-numbered years and alternates between Houston and the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The board honored former executive Deborah Richey and Malkemes for their roles as SFA executive directors.
Richey was executive director for 10 years before leaving in January to open a rep agency, Encore Multi Sales Inc. of San Antonio, TX.
