Distributors: Inventory Turnovers Up for Third Year

When a similar question was asked in the End of 1995 FIN Survey, the average reported by distributors was 12.8%
The 13.8% this year is the overall average of 132 distributors responding to the question. There were 16 distributors reporting they carry no metric product. Of the 116 distributors who do distribute metric product the average is 15.7%.

A majority reported no difficulty in obtaining fasteners during 2000, and fewer than 10% found significant difficulty.
However, the percentage finding no difficulty dropped from 64% for 1999 to 52.9% for 2000.
