Fastener Engineer Wanted for the Metro-Detroit
All State Fastener Corporation. This Full-time position is responsible for all application engineering for the company’s various internal and external customers, meeting program timing and cost targets in support of corporate goals and objectives. Trouble shoot customer application engineering problems and respond with a solution which addresses the issue and potential cost saving solutions. Act as ASF’s internal subject matter expert on issues related to the design, testing and manufacturing of fasteners and fastener related products. Verify the accuracy of customer prints / specifications in hardcopy form as well as CAD drawings / renderings. Field test customer products with various test equipment.
• Minimum 5 years experience in fasteners
• Able to travel if necessary
• Blueprint reading, CAD
• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience in the fastener/manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and detail-organization skills
