Former General Fasteners Engineer Named Morris Group Productivity Specialist

Former General Fasteners sales engineer Keith Hamby was named by Morris South as productivity specialist.

Hamby will work with manufacturers in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Virginia in a customer service capacity to improve efficiency of their machine tools by assessing current practices and recommending tooling and accessories.

Hamby brings over 20 years experience in the machine tool industry most recently as sales engineer for General Fasteners and Kyocera Industrial Ceramics. In those positions, Hamby was responsible for new business development, as well as working closely with customers to help reduce cost in the manufacturing process.

He was also involved in training on cutting tool and related products.

Morris South is a division of Morris Group, Inc, whose history of serving the manufacturing community dates back to 1941. The company is an exclusive distributor for Okuma, Tsugami, Hardinge, Bridgeport and many other products.
