Grainger Promotes Ryan to President

W.W. Grainger promoted James Ryan, 47, to president of the company.
“Jim”s 25 years with Grainger in a variety of facets of the business make him ideally suited to lead the business,” commented CEO Richard Keyser.
“Since he became Group President in 2004, the U.S. branch-based business has increased sales growth while improving operating earnings.” Ryan joined Grainger in 1980 in the company”s product management area.
Grainger promoted Deb Oler to vice president of sales. Oler joined Grainger in May 2002 as regional sales vice president.
Grainger also named Kevin Peters, 48, as senior vice president of its Supply Chain operations. Most recently Peters served as supply chain vice president. Prior to joining Grainger, Peters was vice president of logistics for Home Depot Supply and director of distribution operations for McMaster-Carr Supply. \ �2006 FastenerNews.com
