International Sourcing & Purchasing Specialist

The position will be responsible for managing and developing an international vendor base, selecting the best mix of suppliers, and negotiating the best possible terms while reducing inventory levels and maximizing the company’s profitability. This person will work closely with the internal sales, quality control and accounting departments.
Principal Responsibilities:
* International Sourcing of special fasteners and other C-type components * Overseas vendor management *Daily RFQ and order processing * New Supplier Development and evaluation of performance * Inventory Control
Requirements:
* Proven experience in international sourcing of fasteners * Good familiarity with fastener manufacturing/distribution environment * Effective negotiating and analytical skills * Strong oral and written communication * Computer skills in Microsoft Office * Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
