Star Stainless Screw Co. president Wayne Golden is featured in the May 1, 2000, issue of Forbes magazine.
Forbes reporter Gary Shilling describes Golden�s decision 15 years ago to take his sales force in-house and give his 75 telephone sellers discretion to set prices as long as they meet margins.
Forbes also describes Golden�s strategy to stock slow-moving items and ride out price swings.
