The National Fastener Distributors Association launched a new website and logo: NFDA-fastener.org.

The NFDA stated in its announcement that the organization “wanted a more modern look and feel to our logo, as our mission has evolved over time. As the NFDA continues to help our members thrive in the global marketplace, we also understand our target market is a diverse group in age and industry experience. Our rebrand keeps the historical roots of NFDA and offers connections with the next generation.”

The NFDA was founded in 1968. There are currently 151 member companies.

NFDA marketing committee chair Jodie Thinnes said the new logo “connects people, groups, and organizations and fosters networking relationships within our industry with diverse backgrounds coming together as one, representing teamwork.”

Committee members working on the website and logo were: Jennifer Ruetz, Warren Brooks, Mallory Cravens Nichols, Craig Penland, Jodie Thinnes and Kirk Zehnder.

The NFDA website lists upcoming zoom roundtables and virtual events; the next annual meeting June 20-21, 2022 in Minneapolis; and executive summit, November 9-11, 2022, in Naples, FL.

The NFDA is currently headed by president Kevin Goodin of AFC Industries and Nick Ruetz, AIS. Amy Nijjar was named executive vice president earlier this year, succeeding Vickie Lester.
