Sherex Fastening Solutions has begun marketing fasteners for the Electric Vehicle industry, including its fasteners for thin-sheet and light-weight materials.

Sherex points out that “it’s not just the way the vehicle runs that’s the difference” and “Sherex understands the differences and nuances between EVs and combustion engine vehicles.”  EVs use more aluminum, composites and carbon fiber than traditional combustion engines.  Sherex has fasteners for thin-sheet base materials for easier assembly and joint strength.  Sherex also provides tooling for the assembly line.

Founded in 1978 in Buffalo, NY, to supply automotive and fluid power markets, the rivet nut division was spun off in 2004 and the company became Sherex Fastening Solutions.  Sherex manufactures in Taiwan and Akron, OH, and is headquartered at 400 Riverwalk Pkwy #600,Tonawanda, NY 14150-5815.  Tel: 716 875-0315  Web: Sherex.com
