� Jim Wolpert is the new president of AVK Industrial Products.
Wolpert joined AVK in 1965 and became vice president of Avibank Mfg. and in charge of AVK in 1997.
AVK has operated as a division of Avibank for 17 years and shared financial, human resources and other services with Avibank. With the SPS Technologies acquisition of Avibank, AVK and Avibank are being moved into separate operating groups.
AVK also announced Jamie Lawrence as director of sales & marketing; Mike Hall, controller; and Joe Butvin, director of technical services.
Lawrence has 23 years in fastener sales experience, including being national sales manager for Olympic Fastening Systems, Voi-Shan and Allfast, and most recently was aerospace product line manager for Honeywell Hardware Product Group. Hall is a certified management accountant and has worked for automotive tier 1 and distributor suppliers. Butvin was general sales manager.

� Ford Fasteners expanded product lines with S-tops self-drilling fasteners made of hardened steel and a 300 stainless capped head.

� Pentacon Inc. CEO Mark Baldwin named Robert Ruck president of Pentacon Aerospace Group Inc.
Baldwin also named Jeff Fatica president of Pentacon Industrial Group, and Ruck as senior vice presidents of the parent company.
Ruck was vice president and general manager for business and general aviation of Honeywell Aerospace. Ruck succeeds Don List, who left Pentacon but remains on the board as a consultant.
Pentacon also announced a three-year $7.5 million contract for JIT delivery to Pratt & Whitney Canada, a division of United Technologies Corp. Pentacon has opened a Montreal facility.
Baldwin said the contract �gives Pentacon the ability to further diversify into the regional airplane sector with a strong market leader.�
