STAFDA Distributors Q1 Sales Up 18.9%
The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association 2012 first quarter Trend Report showed an 18.9% sales increase.
“Despite the continued ‘cautiously optimistic’ outlook, many STAFDA members across all membership categories are reporting improved sales and a more upbeat attitude,” according to the association’s Trade News newsletter.
At 42.3% Midwestern distributors had the highest sales increase of U.S. and Canada regions. The Southeast was up 29.4% and Northwest 25.6%. Only the Mid-Atlantic was down at 7.9%.
