Texas Flooding Hits Fastener Industry

Birmingham Fastener employee Bobby Martin of Anchor Bolt “tragically lost his life along with several members of his family” in recent flooding on the Guadalupe River in Kerr County, TX, the company reports.
Martin joined Birmingham Fastener in February after working for Toro Complete Services.
“Please keep Bobby’s loved ones, the Anchor Bolt team, and all the victims of this catastrophic flood in your prayers. We are standing with the Kerr County community during this unimaginable time.”
On July 4, Bobby and his wife Amanda “were at the river vacationing as a family. Luckily, Ethan and Addison (their children) were rescued.”
A GoFundMe fundraiser has collected nearly $70,000 to support the family.
