Wire 2012 Opens in Germany

There are 158 fastener exhibitors among the 1,314 exhibitors at Wire 2012 this week in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Total Wire 2012 exhibit space for the biennial trade shows increased 10.7% from the last show in 2010, Fastener+Fixing editor Phil Matten reported.
At the last Wire show in 2010 there were 1,217 exhibitors.
This year there are 339 exhibitors from Germany and 975 from 49 foreign countries.
Other major exhibiting countries are Italy with 210 companies; China 126; and U.S. 81.
Show organizers predict 70,000 attendees at the combined Wire 2012 and Tube 2012.
