Würth Additive Group agreed to distribute ARBURG’s patented freeformer additive manufacturing technology throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The agreement expands Würth Additive Group’s 3D printing technology offerings for general manufacturing, oil & gas, heavy equipment, and transportation with product and material development markets.

“The ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (APF) technology allows us to tap into a whole new range of options for industrial additive manufacturing,” stated Würth Additive Group CEO AJ Strandquist. “Our customers will benefit from the adaptability of the freeformer, as it allows for maximum customization through an extensive materials database.”

Würth Industry North America (WINA) formed Indianapolis-based Würth Additive Group in 2021 to provide expanded 3D printing products and services, including financing and rental options on equipment.  WINA began providing additive products and services in 2017 with rapid prototyping and printing production tools.

WINA is a $1 billion division of the Würth Group, with 110 locations providing 420,000 fasteners and C-parts plus services.  Web: WurthIndustry.com
