1986 FIN – Rawlplug to Produce Concrete Fastener

April 10, 1986 FIN – The Rawplug Co., Inc., New Rochelle, New York, has purchased highly automated cold heading equipment to produce a new high volume concrete fastener trade named “Rawl-Spike”.
A fourth manufacturing facility dedicated solely to manufacture of Rawl-Spikes will begin production in mid-May. It will be located in Hudson, Michigan, close to two other Rawl facilities.
Scott C. Olin, marketing manager for The Rawlplug Co., also tells FIN that Jeffrey R. Powers, formerly product manager has been named vice president of marketing. Powers, who’s 27, joined the company in 1979 as a salesman in New York City and was then New England regional sales manager and then product manager for all new and existing product lines before his recent promotion.
The Rawlplug Co. Inc. is a 63-year-old masonry anchor and construction fastener manufacturer with 4 manufacturing plants and 33 inventory warehouses which sells all its products through authorized distributors.
