Do it Best’s Taylor Heads NAW for 2010

The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors elected Robert Taylor chairman of the Washington DC-based industry
Taylor, CEO of Do it Best Corp., succeeds Chip Hornsby of UK-based Wolseley plc.
Taylor noted that Do it Best “has long benefited from the services, support, industry expertise, and advocacy that NAW provides.”
Chairman-elect is Dennis Hatchell, Alex Lee Inc.
For 2010 the first vice chair is Mark Kramer, Laird Plastics; second vice chair, Roy Vallee, Avnet Inc.; secretary Patrick Larmon, Bunzl Distribution USA;
NAW comprises individual wholesale distribution firms and a federation of national, regional, state and local associations totaling 40,000 companies. NAW represents the $4.5 trillion merchant wholesale distribution industry, which employs 5 million people. Web: NAW.org
