Two technical sessions have been added to Fastener Tech 07 and two organizations plus Distributors Link magazine have been added as participants..
The ASM Heat Treating Society will present a technical seminar on fastener heat treating. Richard Sisson Jr. director of manufacturing & materials engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute will lead the three-hour program focusing on Grade 5, Grade 8 and high-strength steel fasteners. The Chicago Metal Finishers Institute has joined as a co-sponsor and will organize a metal finishing seminar. Founded in 1935 and is an affiliate of the National Association of Metal Finishers. Web: chicagometalfinishers.com

Fastener Tech 07 is scheduled June 25-28, 2007, at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
Fastener Tech is the successor event to Fastener Week held in 2005. Fastener Tech includes education, a trade show, networking and social events for manufacturers, distributors and fastener users.
