John Fischer of ITW-CIP is the new chairman of the Industrial Fasteners Institute, and Jim Dauw of Alcoa Fasteners is vice chair.\
Fischer succeeds Tim Taylor of MacLean-Fogg Co.
New board members are: Jim Wittersheim, Semblex Corp.; Mike Fallaw, MacLean-Fogg Co.; Steve Engelman, SPS Technologies Inc.; and Porter McLean, ATF Inc.
New division leaders are:
Division I (industrial products): chair Jerry DeMars, Nucor Fastener Division; vice chair Bryan Burgy, Rockford Fasteners Inc.
Division II (aerospace): chair Dick Smernoff, B&B Specialties Inc.; vice chair Soheil Eshraghe, Textron Aerospace Fasteners.
Division III (automotive): chair Greg Sander, Kamax-GB DuPont LP; vice chair David Cronovich, MNP Corp.
