GE Supply Rebranded Gexpro

GE Supply has been rebranded Gexpro, following the Rexel Group’s acquisition of GE Supply from General Electric. Connecticut-based Gexpro will continue to operate as an independent Rexel banner in the U.S.

GE Supply included fastener distributor GE Supply Logistics, which GE established after acquiring fastener distributor Questron Technologies Inc. in 2002 for $88.7 million.

Gexpro CEO Jeff Schaper said the new brand “builds on over 100 years of GE Supply excellence while reinforcing our commitment to our core values of professionalism, accountability, customer-focus, experience and integrity.”

Gexpro distributes fasteners, electrical parts, power generation products, voice and data equipment and security supplies and had a total of $2.5 billion revenue in 2006. Gexpro has 2,500 employees and 170 locations in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia and China. Gexpro supplies contractors, industrial and commercial users, engineer constructors, OEMs, utilities and the aerospace industry from GE and 200 manufacturers.
