Deepak Fasteners Ltd. of India has acquired the Unbrako product brand, including all rights, trade name, trademark, registration, Australian distribution facility and the Shannon, Ireland, Unbrako manufacturing plant and distribution facility.

“Deepak Fasteners’ acquisition of Unbrako puts global strength and technical support behind the brand,” the company stated.

Toronto-based Interfast will continue to serve as the exclusive North American master distributor for the Unbrako products.
Interfast has stocking warehouses located throughout North America.

“Deepak is a respected global leader in this industry and strongly committed to enhancing and strengthening the Unbrako brand in the global market,” stated Interfast vice president Conrad Lennert.

Over the coming months Deepak will upgrade Unbrako.com, as well as product literature and engineering support materials to complement its expansion of the product line.

Unbrako socket screws are used in machine tools, tools and dies, earth moving and mining machinery, and a range of industrial and engineering applications. Developed in the 1920s, its popularity grew among engineers in the U.S. and Britain.

Headquartered in India, Deepak manufactures high-tensile industrial bolts, nuts, washers, ASTM studs, foundation bolts threaded rod and clamps, which are exported to more than 30 countries. Deepak was split from its parent company, Durg Fasteners, in 1992. Web: deepakfasteners.com 2008 FastenerNews.com
