Sundram Fasteners Ltd. chair and managing director Suresh Krishna received the Rotary International lifetime achievement award for excellence in manufacturing.
In his acceptance, Krishna highlighted the need for being passionate about achieving excellence and the need to maintain good labor relations. Krishna advised executives to have a strong vision for their companies and communicate it to employees, the Hindu Business Line reported.
Sundram Fasteners Limited is a part of Chennai, India-based TVS Group. Sundram manufactures high-tensile fasteners, powder metal components, cold extruded parts, hot forged components, radiator caps, automotive pumps, gear shifters, gears and couplings, and iron powder.
