O’Brien Promotes Verrelli & Weadick

Acklands-Grainger president Sean O’Brien named Sandro Verrelli vice president for sales & marketing and Kevin Weadick vice president for supply chain.
Verrelli is responsible for sales development, inside sales centers, marketing and eBusiness.
Verrelli was promoted from general manager of the British Columbia and Manitoba market.
Verrelli has been with Acklands-Grainger for 18 years in branch and sales roles.
Weadick has responsibility for D.C. operations, inventory, transportation and continuous improvement.
Weadick joined Grainger’s U.S. supply chain organization eight years ago.
Founded in 1889, Acklands-Grainger distributes fasteners plus industrial and safety, and products from 165 branches and five distribution centers in Canada.
Revenue for 2009 was $740 million.
