PAM Fastening Marks 25 Years

PAM Fastening Technology Inc. is celebrating its 25th anniversary as a fastener manufacturer, president Ed Minchew announced.
Charlotte, NC-based PAM Fastening was founded by Heinz Buhnen in 1981 as Power Adhesive Machines. PAM Fastening’s parent company was started by Buhnen’s father in 1922 in Germany and called Buhnen Gmbh & Co. KG.
PAM Fastening has three segments: Hot Melt, Frame Assembly, with 80 types of fasteners, and Collated Screwdriver products, which include about 80 types of collated and bulk screws and eight autofeed screwdriver systems.
PAM Fastening has quadrupled in size over the past decade, growing to more than 1,300 customers.
Future plans include expanding their existing building or relocating to a larger building. The company also plans to expand their sales team and distribution warehouse.
