Rockford Fastener Named 2009 Vendor of Year by Active Screw

Rockford Fastener Inc. received Active Screw & Fastener’s “2009 Vendor of the Year” award.
The award is based on Active Screw’s Six-Star Program of standards for vendors/suppliers.
The Six-Star program was developed by Active CEO Buddy Blattner with vendors in 2007. To qualify all products must have no rejections for over two years. Suppliers dreceive honors by reaching levels of four, five or six stars.
The award is based on price, quality and service.
“Active expects, from vendors, what we expect from ourselves; exceptional service, exceptional quality, and a price commensurate with the quality and service we provide,” Blattner said.
The 2007 and 2008 winner was Ho Hong Works.
Rockford Fastener was founded in 1977 by Bill Orman and is now headed by president Bryan Burgy.
