Craig Russell is the new president of the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association, and Marshall Jones is vice president.\
Russell of Active Sales Co., Santa Fe Springs, CA, succeeds Jason Bader of Acme Construction Supply, Portland, OR. Russell is a second-generation president of Active Sales, a distributor of wood assembly and packaging materials.
Marshall Jones of Marco Supply Co., in Roanoke, VA, also is a second-generation distribution president.
Joining the STAFDA board for three-year terms are John Hessel, Whitton Supply Companies, Oklahoma City; Rick Peterson, All-West Components & Fasteners Inc, Seattle; and Greg Drouillard, Target Building Materials Ltd., Windsor, ON.
Bader reported STAFDA membership totals 2,617 companies, or 14 more than a year ago. The 2003 total includes 1,154 distributors, 1,130 associates, 314 rep agents and 19 publishing affiliates.
