� Forest City Technologies Inc. opened a 110,000 sq ft plant in a suburban Detroit industrial park. Forest City CEO John Cloud said the Wixom plant gives �our Detroit-area fastener customers a broader scope and multiple product line capability.�
The newly constructed plant replaces the 14,000 sq ft Troy, MI, plant included in the acquisition of Adelphia. Jeffrey Weatherholt is the Wixom operations manager.
Jeff Petras, business unit manager for fastener coatings, said the new facility includes �state-of-the-art technologies and engineering expertise. The large facility allows us to do more under one roof from start to finish than ever before, from processing and inspecting parts with high-speed vision inspection systems to packaging and local delivery.�
The new plant is located at 30811 Century Dr., Wixom, MI 48393. Forest City also opened a 60,000 sq ft silicone rubber and thermoplastic elastomers plant recently in Wellington, OH.
