Audax Group acquired Elgin Fastener Group for an undisclosed sum.
 

Elgin National Industries entered the fastener industry in 1987 with the acquisition of Chandler Products, Cornell Mfg. Products Inc., Ohio Rod Products and Fasteners, Inc. from Nortek Inc.
 

At the time Elgin’s products included watches with NFL logos, concrete construction, coal processing products; mining controls and machinery; children’s watches and clocks; and Welby and Elgin clocks.
