182 Exhibitors Booked for NIFS/East; Attendee Discount Deadline April 15

The National Industrial Fastener Show/East lists 182 companies and organizations reserving 197 booths for the May 23, 2007, trade show in College Park, GA.
Six weeks before the 27th annual East show the booth total exceeds last year’s 185 booth total in Columbus, OH, but lags behind other recent years: 223 booths in Baltimore in 2005; 209 in Orlando in 2004 and 260 in Orlando in 2003. The NIFS record is 653 in Columbus in 1996.
The deadline for “Early Bird” advance discount registration for the NIFS/East is April 15, 2007. Early bird registration is $35. Advance registration after April 15 is $40 and onsite registration is $50.
Registration for the Los Angeles Fastener Association’s Fastener Specification & Terminology course is $395 by April 15 and $495 after.
The Southeastern Fastener Association’s “Evaluation of the Fastener World Market Place” and the “Management Issues of the 21st Century” are $75 each. SEFA also is sponsoring a scholarship golf outing on Monday.
NIFS/East will be at the Georgia International Convention Center, just west of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
