Portland Bolt Launches Website for New F1554 Standard

Portland Bolt & Manufacturing Company launched F1554AnchorBolts.com as a technical resource outlining the benefits of the new ASTM F1554 standard for anchor bolts for steel concrete connections. The website is designed for engineers, steel fabricators and the fastener industry. The new standard as simplifies the process of specifying anchor bolts between manufacturers and end users.

“We see a need in the industry to provide more education regarding the F1554 specification and felt a stand-alone website would accomplish this more effectively than burying the information on our main website,” general manager Greg Lindsay explained.

Founded in 1912, Portland Bolt manufactures construction and industrial fasteners, provides hot-dip galvanizing and stocks anchor bolts, headed bolts, nuts, washers and construction fasteners both black and galvanized, domestic and import.
